Well, a little about me. My name is Shannon and I have a passion for cars. I love to drive them, look at them, work on them and photograph them...hence this little corner of the web.
I grew up in a Ford family. My parents always had a classic Mustang, either 65/66 or 69/70 Fastbacks when I was young. How cool was I getting dropped off at school in such a bad ass car? Throughout the years of growing up, a lot of Fords and even a couple Chevy's called our driveway home at one time or another. The car that I remember the best and loved the most, was my mom's 1988 Mustang GT. At the time she bought the car, I had my driver's license, so every chance I got, I drove it. That started my love for the Fox Body Mustang.
Although my first car wasn't a Mustang, it was a 1976 Celica Coupe, I loved it all the same. My second car, and first Mustang, was a 1976 Mustang Mach I. Which was cool, until I spotted a 1980 Mustang Cobra, four cylinder turbo, four speed, black with neon green striping. How cool was that? That was the car I had throughout my high school years and for a year or so after I graduated until I was dumb and traded it on something I won't even mention.
I've had a few different Mustangs since then, but my most favorite one is the one that I have now, Daisy - a 1990 Mustang LX 5.0. I owe it to my parents for giving me the respect and love of muscle cars that I have today. I couldn't imagine just thinking of my car as a way to get from point A to point B. Daisy is my friend and has yet to let me down.
Which leads into another hobby I enjoy....photographing cars. Photographing cars has just been a thing for me to do when I make a new modification to my car. My mom (who is my biggest supporter) and a good friend told me that I seemed to have a good eye for taking pictures and that I should pursue it as far as it will take me. I thought about it, and being that I love to take pictures, I decided to give it a shot.
Now, I know I have ALOT to learn and I try to soak up as much information regarding automotive photography as I can. I would hope one day to see my pictures in a calendar or on a website besides my own. If not, it's still something I enjoy and will continue to do no matter what.
I hope you enjoy my site and my pictures as well. Feel free to contact me with any comments, praise and criticism. I would love to hear what you have to say.
Keep in mind this is a continuing work in progress and will be continually updated! Please stop by as often as you can to see any news and updates that I have added.
